Caroline Reid, was born and educated in Ireland, but moved to the United Kingdom to pursue a career in Quality Assurance. Caroline has over 20 years experience in the area of Quality Assurance, the majority of which was gained as the QA Manager of a large American owned Contract Research Organisation.

Caroline has extensive knowledge of a range of different quality standards (e.g. GLP, GCP, GCLP, GMP, ISO 17025, ISO 15189, ISO 9001) and has considerable experience in reviewing existing Quality Management Systems, as well as designing and implementing new systems on behalf of clients. She has also successfully hosted numerous third party inspections by various regulatory bodies (e.g. United States FDA and United Kingdom VMD and MHRA).

On returning to Ireland Caroline co-founded CKR Consulting Limited, and is a Director of the company. She now provides QA support to pharmaceutical, agrochemical, chemical and laboratory testing companies in Ireland, the UK and worldwide.

Caroline is also an OECD GLP Inspector and Lead Assessor (ISO 17025 and ISO 15189) for the Irish National Accreditation Board.
