Ken Reid, was educated in Scotland, and holds both an Honours Degree and PhD in Chemistry, which he attained whilst at University in Edinburgh. Ken has over 18 years Project Management experience, the majority of which was gained as a Research Manager working for the distilled spirits industry, during which time he successfully planned, implemented and managed numerous long and short term projects in the UK, United States, Europe and the Caribbean.

Ken also has extensive experience of ISO 17025 quality management systems and has successfully assisted companies in the development and implementation of such systems into their business.  Ken has also held the position of Deputy Quality Manager and ISO 17025 Auditor in previous employment.

On moving to Ireland Ken co-founded CKR Consulting Limited, and is a Director of the company. He now assists companies in Ireland, the UK and worldwide that are involved in laboratory testing, with the design, implementation and maintenance of their ISO 17025 quality management systems, from inception through to achieving accreditation.
